Suspension of Classes October 14, 2013 (DepEd Announcement)

Suspension of classes on October 14, 2013, has been announced in several areas in Metro Manila.

According to the Department of Education (DepEd), classes in both public and private elementary and high schools in the cities below will be suspended on Monday because of potential heavy traffic that may be brought by the dental-medical missions of Iglesia ni Cristo in Manila.

1. Manila (including college level)
2. Quezon City
3. Caloocan
4. Pasig
5. Pasay
6. Makati
7. Mandaluyong
8. Taguig
9. Paranaque
10. Pateros
11. San Juan
12. Muntinlupa
13. Valenzuela

DepEd added that the following cities will have normal schedules: Marikina, Las Pinas, Malabon and Navotas.
