Responding to the reports, Miss World Philippines organizer Cory Quirino said that "despite the racial slur against Filipinos and Megan, we at Miss World Philippines regret the fact that Devina DeVida's actions were done at the cost of losing her job."
"It is a classic case of karma at work," she added.
The reports, however, cannot be independently verified.
Moments after Miss Philippines Megan Young was crowned Miss World 2013 winner, Divina DeDiva took to her Facebook account to criticize Pinoys.
"Miss Philippines is Miss World? What a joke! I did not know those maids have anything else in them Ha Ha Ha," DeDiva wrote.
The said comment angered many Noypi netizens and prompted some to create hate pages on Facebook.
