A lion killed a heron at a zoo in the Netherlands, which was captured on film by zoo-goers.

A visiting family was taping a pride of lions lazing in the sun inside their cage, when suddenly a heron landed in the enclosure. With her hunting instinct stirred, a lioness then sneaked up on the blue heron and pounced majestically, grabbing the hapless bird out of the air before clamping it in her jaws.
The incident took place a year ago at the Artis Royal Zoo in Amsterdam
but it made buzz online just recently after the amateur footage was
reuploaded to Youtube.
