God told her to drive 100 mph in a 30-mph zone. That's the excuse a Florida woman gave the police who pulled her over after witnessing her speeding and blowing her horn on U.S. 1 in Fort Pierce at 1 a.m. Tuesday.
God Told Her To Drive 100 MPH

When 41-year-old Melissa Miller was questioned by the cops why she was driving her silver Toyota so fast, she explained it was "because I was letting the Lord spirit [sic] guide me," according to a police report. She also claimed God had told her to use her hooter.

The report added that Miller stuck her arms out the window of her car and initially refused to stop, swerving across two lanes.

Miller was arrested on charges of reckless driving and violation of her probation for leaving the scene of an accident with injuries. She was then taken to the St. Lucie County Jail and placed under a $375 bail.
