Box Office Results For Labor Day Weekend |
According to estimates, the Sam Raimi-produced horror movie raked in $17.7 million from Friday to Sunday, giving Lionsgate three straight weekends of box office supremacy.
In second place was John Hillcoat's Prohibition-era drama "Lawless," grossing $9.67 million in ticket sales.
Meanwhile, the third spot was occupied by the 2-week box office winner "The Expendables," which earned $8.8 million.
