Radiohead accident (Twitter)
British band Radiohead canceled its Toronto concert following an accident that killed one person and injured three others on Saturday, June 16.

No members of Radiohead were hurt as they were not in the vicinity when the accident happened.

Authorities said that about 20 people were in the venue to conduct sound checks and rehearsals when the roof of an outdoor stage suddenly collapsed at about 4 p.m. local time at Downsview Park.

A man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene while a 45-year-old man was taken to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening head injury, the police said. It added that two other males were treated on the scene for less serious injuries.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances tonight's at downsview park tonight has been cancelled. Fans are advised not to make their way to the venue," Radiohead posted on Twitter.

The Ontario Ministry of Labor and the Toronto police are currently investigating on what caused the mishap.
