Bus Monitor Bullied (Youtube)
A video of a 68-year-old bus monitor being bullied by kids is making the rounds in social media sites right now.

In the video, a group of middle schoolers are verbally harassing the bus monitor, calling her fat, poor, ugly, and other similar words. At one point in the video, she can be seen breaking down in tears while the kids continue to call her names.

The bus monitor was identified as Karen Klein, who drove a school bus for 20 years and has been a monitor for three.

In her interview with the NBC's "Today" show, Klein said she is not going to press charges against the boys who bullied her as she happy with the strong community response.

"I’ve got these nice letters, emails, Facebook messages," Klein said. "It’s like, wow, there’s a whole world out there that I didn’t know. It’s really awesome."

An online fundraising effort, which hoped to gather $5,000 to help send the grandmother of 8 on a vacation, has been launched and has so far raised more than $280,000.
