Rachelle Ann Go Cast As Fantine In 'Les Miserables'

After her award-winning performance as Gigi Van Tranh in "Miss Saigon," Rachelle Ann Go has clinched another sought-after role in the world of musical theater. This time, the 28-year-old Filipino singer will be playing the role of Fantine in the highly-acclaimed musical "Les Miserables."

To date, there have been only two Filipinos cast as Fantine in the West End production. They are Tony winner Lea Salonga and singer/actress Joanna Ampil.

The world's longest running musical, "Les Miserables" is now running in its 30th year. The West End production will debut this June at the Queen's Theater in London.
