Suspension of classes on November 8, 2013 has been announced in the following provinces and cities due to threat of Super Typhoon Yolanda, which is expected to make a landfall Friday morning.

As of 4:00pm on Thursday, Super Typhoon Yolanda was located at 543 km Southeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar. It is packing maximum sustained winds of 215 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 250 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 33 kph.
