In a video that is circulating in various social networking sites, the young girl is seen holding a microphone in one hand, while running her other hand's fingers on a braille to read the song's lyrics.

Netizens, who have watched the clip, were impressed by how beautifully she sang the song. Some said they were moved to tears by her performance. Others noted that she deserves to be noticed by American TV host Ellen DeGeneres, who is known to invite kids with exceptional talent to her show.

The blind Filipina girl in the video has been identified as Joyce Jimenez, a fifth grade pupil from Barangay Luzon, Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental.

The video was originally posted on Youtube by Joyce's teacher on Monday but was only noticed on Wednesday when someone uploaded it on Facebook, where it became viral. The Facebook copy has attracted over 97,000 shares and more than 222,000 likes, as of this posting.
