'The Roel Manlangit Story' Tops Saturday Viewing

The "Maalaala Mo Kaya" (MMK) episode featuring the inspiring lifestory of Youtube sensation and "Pilipinas Got Talent" champion Roel Manlangit garnered the highest nationwide ratings among the programs that were shown on Saturday, August 31.

Based on the data from Kantar Media, the "MMK" episode, titled "Rosaryo," received a national TV rating of 32.8%, or 10.8 points ahead of its rival “Magpakailanman” (22.0%).

In Saturday's episode, Kapamilya child wonder Zaijan Jaranilla played the role of the 13-year-old singer. The cast also included  Romnick Sarmenta, Lui Manansala, Amante Pulido, Tina Paner, Ahron Villena, Karen Timbol, Mark Sayarot, Mariel Pamintuan, Elijah Magundayao and Eliza Pineda.
