The award-winning singer joins an esteemed list of recent Super Bowl halftime acts that includes Beyonce, Madonna, The Who, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Prince, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and U2.

Regarded as one of the most-watched events in American television annually, the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show performance is viewed by over 100 million viewers in the United States alone. The 2012 edition of the show featuring Madonna remains the most-watched halftime show in history, with 114 million viewers or about 3 million more than the actual game.
