The all digital film festival aims to discover, encourage and honor cinematic works of Filipino filmmakers that boldly articulate and freely interpret the Filipino experience with fresh insight and artistic integrity.

This year, a total of 25 movies competed in three competition categories. The main competition categories were the New Breed full length feature category and the Short Feature category featuring works by new directors, while the Directors Showcase featured works by established directors.
