Megan Young Joins Miss World Philippines 2013

Megan Young will be competing in this year's Miss World Philippines beauty pageant.

The 23-year-old actress submitted her application to the contest earlier this week, creating buzz in the local pageantry scene. Will she be the next representative of the Philippines to the Miss World competition? And will she take home the first ever Miss World title for the Philippines?

In her past interviews, Young has been vocal about her dream to become a beauty queen. Before Miss World, Young reportedly tried to join Binibining Pilipinas 2013 but she was denied to screen for the contest because of a racy photo on a magazine cover. The pageant organizers had disqualified former contestants for the same reason in the past.

We believe that Young has what it takes to win any beauty pageant as she possesses beauty, glamor and wit. But we cannot say for sure that it is going to be a sure win for her since there are a lot of Filipinas who are equally beautiful, glamorous and intelligent. We do wish her good luck!
