While the current and the previous seasons were filmed in the Caramoan Islands, Season 27 and 28 of "Survivor" will be shot on an island on the northern part of the Philippines, specifically in the Palaui Island located in the province of Cagayan which has pristine white beaches surrounded by lush forests and mesmerizing mountains.

Cape Engaño, a beach with a lighthouse built in the late 1800s, will reportedly be closed for exclusive use of the show along with two other beaches. The show will also use Puzo Robo beach on the northeastern tip of the mainland.

The show is believed to start filming in the new Philippine location on May 19, a week after the current season's finale.

Season 25 was named "Survivor Philippines," while Season 26 was called "Survivor Caramoan." We're guessing that the upcoming seasons may be titled "Survivor Cagayan" and "Survivor Palaui."
