Journey's Manila Concert Canceled |
"Due to the extreme importance of the Easter holiday in my home
country, as well as the deserved widespread media attention on the
upcoming election in Manila, the ticket sales for Journey's upcoming
show have understandably been somewhat slow," Arnel Pineda, the band's new lead singer, said. "We have decided it is best
for everyone to postpone the Manila concert until the next time Journey
tours in Asia. We are very sorry that we won’t be able to see our fans
this year, but we will see you again soon. You know we all love to play
in Manila!"
Those who have purchased their tickets can have them refunded from the SM Tickets branch where the bought the tickets from. Customers should bring the tickets with them in order to received a refund. For inquiries, SM Tickets can be reached at 470-2222.
It seems like March is not a good month for concerts. As far as we know, the Journey concert is the third to be canceled this month. Adam Lambert's and the Smash Project 2013,which supposed to feature All Time Low, Sum 41 and other American bands, are also not pushing through.
