Aside from the Philippines' Popstar Princess, the other artists nominated in the category were Han Geng from China, Shila Amzah of Malaysia and "Gangnam Style" singer Psy of Korea.
Last year, Filipina Youtube sensation Charice took home the award, besting Agnes Monica of Indonesia, Wonder Girls of South Korea and Yuna of Malaysia.
Update: Apparently, Han Geng won KCA's Favorite Asian Act award, according to THIS.

Back off Sarah. U have a long way to go for KCA. Your talent/ standard meant only for locals (Filipinos) Charice achievement has too far from any of the Filipino artist. Charice is phenomenal. She can't be compared to anybody. Filipinos forcefully declaring her as their pop princess ( we don't even listen to Sarah's out of tune voice) she is somewhat behaves erotic sometimes which made her a low class citizen.
