British boy band One Direction is set to embark on a world tour in 2013 and Manila, Philippines is one of its stops.
The said One Direction Live In Manila 2013 concert was confirmed by the group during a recent radio interview.
The boys have been signed as newest endorsers of local clothing brand Penshoppe, recently. It is possible that they're going to hold a fan conference, too. That, however, has not been confirmed.
Composed of Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Harry Styles, One Direction was formed in the popular singing competition "The X Factor UK" in 2010. Although they only finished third on the show, the boy band made it to international scene after releasing their debut album "Up All Night," which topped charts worldwide and marked the first time a debut album by a British group had entered at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart.
As of August 2012, the band has sold over eight million singles, three million albums and one million DVDs.
