Mr. Gutierrez is not only good in graphic design but is a very talented fencer as well. In fact, the UE Red Warrior received the Most Valuable Player award at the 72nd UAAP in 2010 after winning two gold medals in team and individual foil. He has also joined in various fencing competitions abroad.
Because of less opportunities and support for his sports in the country and in an effort to pursue his passion, Guttierrez decided to venture to Singapore, where he is now working as coach at "Z Fencing," a world-class fencing academy and said to be the best in Asia.
Coach Fritz, as he is called by his students, also has a page on Facebook where he posts updates about fencing.
