Users of the popular microblogging site were tweeting about what happened to Macapagal during a news report. She was seen gasping for air while delivering her spill.
According to another Kapamilya reporter, Niko Baua, Macapagal "ran to the studio coming from an interview to make the news advisory on time," which explains why she was catching her breath
He added: "She wasn't crying, emotional or anything like that, to those asking. Shes doing extra duty today, doing a story besides the news advisory."
Many Twitter users were also asking for a link to Macapagal's video report and several tweeted about how they admire the professionalism shown by Macapagal, which also facilitated "Maan Macapagal" to trend on Twitter.
