Grandma Has Daughter's Baby
A woman from Madawaska, Maine recently gave birth to her own grandson as her daughter is not capable of bearing a child due to an illness.

Linda Sirois, 49, became a surrogate mother for her 25-year-old daughter, Angel Hebert, who has a heart condition which would make pregnancy unsafe.

On August 13, Sirois successfully delivered via C-section her daughter's baby, Madden Brian Hebert, whom she carried in her womb for nine months. The baby weighed 7 pounds and 14 ounces upon birth.

Sirois said she offered for years to become a surrogate mother for Angel if doctor said the latter shouldn't become pregnant.

The baby was conceived through an in-vitro fertilization method where Angel's egg and husband Brian's sperm were fertilized before implanting it to Sirois.
