Happy, Pi Approximation Day!
"Pi Approximation Day" is held every 22nd day of July since the day/month date format 22/7 is a common approximation of the mathematical constant π (pi).

Another unofficial holiday, the "Pi Day," is also being celebrated on March 14 each year to commemorate π since the date, in month/day format, represents the first three digits of the value of π in decimal form, 3.14.

Among the activities done during the two holidays are pie-eating contests and discussing the relevance of π. In schools, teachers would facilitate pi recitations, pie-baking, and other mathematical games.

In 2010, Google celebrated the "Pi Day" through a Google Doodle -- the word Google was laid over images of circles and pi symbols.

This year, online encyclopedia Wikipedia featured information about pi on its homepage to commemorate the "Pi Approximation Day."
