Excedrin Recall
It has been six months since Excedrin recall was announced, causing howls of agony among its intensely loyal users.

Manufacturer Novartis recalled the drug in January as a precautionary measure after prescription painkillers had gotten mixed in with Excedrin.

The lack of Excedrin supply has given birth to black market and some bottles of the medicine go for hundreds of dollars on sites like eBay. One recent auction of 50 tablets on the site had a high bid of $60. Another seller is offering a dispenser of 100 tablets for $150.

"You guys are going to have a mutiny on your hands really soon," a New Jersey customer named Nick warned on Novartis’ Facebook page. "Hope you guys have some Excedrin to take when the consumers are done with you."

In a statement, the company said it was "working very hard to return products to store shelves." The company plans to restart production on a "line-by-line, product-by-product basis" to assure quality, and hopes to start restocking some products in the second half of the year.

  4. It's been off the shelf too long. Sounds like more than just a mixup, sounds like they're not telling the public the truth about why. To risk loosing customers permanently and not be able to restock shelves for as log as 6-12 months indicates a more serious problem than what they admit. Just sayin'
