A video of a time-lapse map of Europe's history was uploaded on Youtube recently and briefly became viral. The said video is not anymore available on the video sharing site after a copyright claim had it deleted.

Reportedly created by YouTube user "harrunostasj" using the Centennia Historical Atlas software, the fascinating clip showed the changing borders of the continent from 1000 AD until 2003 in just 3 and a half minutes.

"What a pity! I have been watching this video over and over again, each time focusing on another part of Europe and that was so interesting. I am still eager to see it again so if anyone can find it back i would be very pleased," "artemis2" wrote on a LonelyPlanet forum thread.

The copyright claim was made by Centennia Software.
