Zerg Rush Effect
Typing "Zerg Rush" on Google returns a search page with letter Os attacking and eating the search results.

This latest Google Easter egg is also interactive. You can prevent the Os on destroying all the results by clicking on them a few times. After the game, a stat counter will then show your score which you can post on Google+.

Urban Dictionary defines "Zerg Rush" as "a term used for a swarming attack, and/or winning a battle by throwing bodies and outnumbering an opponent." It originated from a former tactic on the popular video game Starcraft where players attack their opponents by mass producing zergs and rushing them.

Prior to "Zerg Rush," the search giants had also came up with the following fun Easter eggs:

--Searching for "do a barrel roll" or "Z or R twice" will rotate the results page a full 360 degrees. This is a reference to the Nintendo video game Star Fox 64.

--Searching for "tilt" or "askew" using a Webkit based browser (such as Google Chrome, Safari, or Android/iOS built-in browsers) or a recent version of Firefox (7+), makes the page 'lean' to the right a bit. This also works when using Safari on a Mac.

--Searching for "qingming festival" returns a search page containing a stylized tree in the top right, water buffalo in the bottom right, and a jumping koi when the page is clicked.

Which one do you like most?
