"I’m happy to have met her, I hope she’s really happy basically and whenever we go out," he said.
In an interview with Push, Ricks said she is indeed happy having Castillo around.
"Siyempre na-flatter ako na sinasabi niya sa buong mundo na nanliligaw siya sa akin. He really makes me happy. Siyempre pag-stressed ka sa work, it’s good to have someone to talk to and to be with," she said.
Castillo had earlier revealed that she is dating the "Nasaan Ka Elisa" actress. He also said that he has not asked Ricks the reason why she and actor Jake Cuenca broke up.
Castillo added that Melissa has met his mom. “We had dinner [and] my mom and Melissa spent some time [together],”
Meanwhile, Cuenca, in his interview with "The Buzz" last Sunday, said that he believes that Castillo will take good care of his former girlfriend.
"I just hope Paul Jake takes care of you really well. I know he’s a very nice guy. Sobrang mabait iyan kasi kaibigan ko din iyan. I wish you guys all the best," the actor said.
