Jessica Sanchez (Fox)
Filipina-Mexican contestant Jessica Sanchez received a standing ovation from the "American Idol" judges for her "impeccable" rendition of  Whitney Houston’s signature ballad, "I Will Always Love You," on Wednesday (Thursday morning in Manila).

Judge Randy Jackson was overjoyed.

"Jessica Sanchez is legit," a very excited Jackson said. "This is one of the hardest songs in the world to sing. You are not only one of the best vocals of the night, I think you’re one of the best singers in the whole competition. This is what (Idol) really is all about, finding the best talents in America. This is one of the best talents in the whole country."

Fellow judge Jennifer Lopez was speechless.

"Just…amazing," Lopez said, at the brink of tears. "I don’t even know what to say."

The superstar added: "When you did the last three things and we were right there with you, I think you were even surprised in yourself. It was beautiful. You are so talented. God bless you!"

Judge Steven Tyler for his part said Sanchez "just made 40 million people cry."

This isn’t the first time Sanchez has stolen the show. Last week she was given a standing ovation by the celebrity judges with her version of Jennifer Hudson's "Love You I Do"-- the first and only one of the evening.

It was announced today that Sanchez has made it to the Top 12. She and the rest of the remaining finalists of the show will again perform live next week.
