An ugly riot erupted after Filipino Johnriel Casimero snatched the IBF light-flyweight title from Argentine Luis "Mosquito" Lazarte via a 10th-round TKO during their boxing fight on Friday at Mar del Plata in Buenos Aires, Argentina - the latter's hometown.

Die hard fans of the hometown hero threw bottles, debris and chairs onto the ring after the decision favoring Casimero was announced. Some even climbed onto the ring and tried to assault the members of Casimero's team.

Eventually, Casimero and his team escaped the ring. According to reports, they sustained bruises and one member suffered a cut on the head.
