A1 during their arrival at the Mactan International Airport
British-Norwegian boy band A1 arrived in Cebu on Thursday.

The pop group is in the Queen City of the South for the Young Life Health Care and Education Foundation.

Formed by Norwegian and Swedish nationals in Cebu, the foundation named A1 as its new ambassadors.

The group will reportedly visit Olango Island where the orphanage and other facilities of the foundation are situated. They will also attend a press conference at the Magellan’s Landing Pub in Mactan Marina Mall on February 18 at noon.

On February 25, A1 will be staging a concert with British pop group Blue and 98 Degrees member Jeff Timons at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

A1 popularized the chart-topping songs "Take On Me", "Same Old Brand New You" and "Like A Rose." The band is now made up of Mark Read, Ben Adams, and Christian Ingebrigtsen. Former member Paul Marazzi has been absent in the recent projects of the group.
