  5. Patunay lang na pantay pantay padin ang tao.

  6. Others are saying that he is partially true that there is no signs that the water is already deep, but sometimes, you have to use common sense, do you really need a sign that you are not allowed to cross the highways? or do you need a sign not to jump on the bridges? I guess, the only valid reason here is if he is a new driver and first time to encounter floods. Maybe he is, but he didn't mention.

  10. I knew Mr. Lao in college. I feel compelled to speak for everyone who knows him personally. Ayoko sana makisali sa perya na to, pero I thought if something like this happens to me, I hope somebody finds the courage to stand up for me, too.

He's a very smart man. His credentials make him smarter than most of you, if not ALL of you commenters who took the time to hurl insults at someone you don't even know. Really, one dumb mistake doesn't make a highly intelligent man like him dumber than you. Wag kayo mag-celebrate, that lapse in judgment, kahit kanino pwede mangyari, malas lang nya naging national joke nung mangyari sa kanya.

It was a dumb mistake, I too was very disappointed, but hey, he's human. We're all prone to err no matter how gifted we are. What disappointed me more was how he lost composure the moment it dawned on him that he was being interviewed to be made fun of in national TV. The reporter obviously had that intention in mind, comic ang angle ng report. And it's cool, it did it's job, I chuckled a bit. Still, ikaw ba, the last time may ginawa kang katangahan na hindi mo normally ginagawa, tapos may sumulpot na reporter at tanungin ka, "Bat mo ginawa yun?" with the obvious intention na ipahiya mo pa lalo ang sarili mo, anong gagawin mo?

You've been informed. Now, move on, people. Yun lang yun.

  23. Chris is my blockmate. When I saw this video, like most of us, I laughed. But, having all the free time in the world to make fan pages and post hate messages and tweets is another. Chris does not deserve this. At all. When my brother asked me if he was an arrogant guy (as he was portrayed in the news bit), I told him not at all - and that is the most ironic thing about this. It was edited in such a way that it made Chris look like a douche. The news bit did not serve any purpose but to humiliate Chris. And this, I say, is irresponsible journalism. In our block, he is our savior from terror professors. Everybody knows he studies all the material for our class. He is not the type of guy who raises his hand in class and interjects non-sense questions (law students, you know the type I'm talking about). Chris does not even raise his hand in class. He only recites if the professor calls his name. He is the type of guy who the professor calls if nobody can answer the question. He is the type of guy who can stand in recitation for four-hour lectures. The news bit did not even mention why he has to go brave the floods. Chris is currently studying for the bar exams. To all law students and lawyers, you know the intense pressure that goes in this process. Moreover, Chris is a father. He was on his way to his daughter since his wife was stranded in the office. Chris hails from Mindanao hence his unfamiliarity with the streets of Metro Manila. And he just learned how to drive when he was in law school. Having said that, Chris even issued an apology for his tirade caught on video and for blaming everybody but himself in the mishap (welcome to the law profession, Chris, where our motto is cover your own ass). I know ignoring the issue would do more good for Chris. I guess, this would be the last time I will mention this issue. To Chris, after the bar exams - and we are all sure you're going to ace that - tell us if you need help. Let's draft laws to prevent this from ever happening again. Or let's sue who we can sue (let's check the prescription for libel on this one).

  25. "GRABE MAKAPANG INSULTO..KAU BA ND NAGKAKAMALI????"

Nagkakamali, pero inaamin pagkakamali di basta basta nang-si-sisi...

"YEAH LAHAT NAGKAKAMALI, JUST THAT NAKITA SIYA SA TV. KAYO KAYA EXPOSE ANG KATANGAHAN SA TV?"

May mga katangahan sa Funniest Video pero di nman nakaka-degrade.. kc karaniwan dun di sinasadya.. eh ung paglusong sa baha tapos maninisi pa.. eh sino ba ung lumusong?

  26. Move on. Give the guy a break. He has already apologized. Let us all learn our lessons from this unfortunate event: media to practice responsible journalism, Chris to be more prudent and careful next time, and people who hurl insults to realize that nobody's perfect. We all make stupid mistakes once or twice in our lives---summa cum laude or otherwise.
