Breaking: Executive Secretary Jojo Ochoa has announced suspension of classes at tertiary level (college level) on July 27, 2011 in NCR upon recommendation of NDRRMC.
"Presidential Spokesperson: Upon recommendation of NDRRMC, the Executive Secretary declared suspension of classes at tertiary level in NCR." the Official Gazette tweeted on Tuesday evening.
There will be no classes in all colleges and universities in National Capital Region (Metro Manila) tomorrow, July 27, 2011. This is due to bad weather brought by Tropical Storm "Juaning" which is expected to make its landfall on Wednesday morning.
The Department of Education (DepEd) earlier suspended classes in lower levels in many areas in Luzon affected by Bagyong "Juaning". Read about it here: http://noypistuff.blogspot.com/2011/07/suspension-of-classes-on-july-27-2011.html
