American Singer Dedicates Song Titled 'The Most Beautiful People' To Filipinos

Filipinos are probably among the most hospitable people in the world. We often hear tourists saying what made their stay in the country more memorable were their interactions with the friendly locals. It is a known trait of Filipinos to be warm, welcoming and helpful to our guests, perhaps because we are thankful that they visited our country and we want their stay here to be as pleasant as possible.

Apart from being hospitable, Stephanie Lee, a singer-songwriter from the United States, observed more traits of Filipinos during her stay in the Philippines.

"The Filipino people are so happy!," she wrote in the caption of her Youtube video. "They walk around singing, they smile, they radiate joy! They don't have much but love life.  I loved being in that atmosphere. They're truly kind."

The video features her singing a song she wrote which she titled "The Most Beautiful People." She said she dedicates the song to the Filipino people, especially those she met who "changed my life."

She added, "This is a song I wrote about how truly beautiful they are, inside and out. While we lived there they treated us so well. I already miss their smiles!"

The clip also shows pictures of the locals she met while in the country for over a year.
