This year, HBO's "Game of Thrones" raked in the most number of nominations. The hit show is nominated in a total of nineteen categories. Closely behind are "Fargo" and "American Horror Story: Coven," which received eighteen and seventeen nominations, respectively.
Other programs garnering ten or more nominations include "Breaking Bad," "The Normal Heart," "Saturday Night Live," "House of Cards," "Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey," "Downton Abbey," "Orange is the New Black," "Sherlock: His Last Vow (Masterpiece)," "True Detective," "Modern Family," and "The Voice."
Meanwhile, this year’s performer nominations include a renowned group of actors–many of whom are past Oscars nominees and winners. The list includes Chiwetel Ejiofor in "Dancing on the Edge," Matthew McConaughey in "True Detective," and Julia Roberts in "The Normal Heart" –all of whom were nominated at the Academy Awards this past year.
