Will Smith died in a car accident, according to a message that is currently making the rounds on Facebook.

The viral message reads, "Will Smith died in a single vehicle crash on Route 80 between Morristown and Roswell. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics responding to the vehicle accident and was identified by photo ID found on his body. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been a factor in this accident."

A simple Google search will tell you that it is just a hoax as there is no credible news organization that backed up the story. Moreover, latest news articles about Smith state that while the death hoax was circulating in the popular social networking site, Smith was in Paris gracing a Louis Vuitton event.

Internet security experts have warned Facebook users not to click the app that is linked to such messages as they may contain malicious software and they will spam out the death hoax to their friends.
