Batman And Wonder Woman In 'Man Of Steel' Sequel?

According to rumors, both Batman and Wonder Woman will be in the upcoming "Man of Steel" sequel.

While Batman has been confirmed, in fact the highly anticipated film is now being called "Batman vs. Superman," it is not yet certain whether the female superhero will also be featured in the movie. Although, Warner Bros. said they have thought about this possibility.

"We have been doing a lot of thinking for years about how to best use all those characters and we love them," said Greg Silverman, Warner Bros. president of creative development and worldwide production. "Wonder Woman is an amazing character. I think it's a great opportunity both for box office success, but also to have an amazingly powerful female superhero."

Silverman added, "We are taking it all very seriously and are trying to do a plan that’s respectful to those characters and maximizes the stories as best they can. So everything that has been speculated are things that we’ve thought about."

The second "Man of Steel" movie is scheduled for a July 2015 release. The Zack Snyder-helmed superhero film stars Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman.
