Bagyong Zoraida, a tropical depression, "has maintained its strength as it moves West Northwestward," the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Monday, November 11.

Bagyong Zoraida Track Forecast
According to the state weather bureau, Bagyong Zoraida was located at 830 km Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur at 10AM. Forecast to move West Northwest at 30 kph, the cyclone is packing maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center.

PAGASA has hoisted Public Storm Warning Signal Number 1 over Siquijor, Southern Cebu, Bohol, Negros Oriental, Southern Negros Occidental, Dinagat Island, Siargao Island, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Davao Oriental, Davao del Norte, Samal Island, Bukidnon, Misamis Oriental, and Camiguin Island.

Weather forecasters said Bagyong Zoraida will produce an estimated rainfall amount of  5-15 mm per hour (moderate-heavy) within its 300-km diameter.

PAGASA added that sea travel is risky over the Northern seaboard of Northern Luzon and the Eastern seaboards of Northern and Central Luzon.
