Ellona Santiago Enters Top 16 Of 'X Factor USA'

Ellona Santiago has made it to the Top 16 of this year's edition of "The X Factor USA."

The 17-year-old Filipino-American singer performed a heartfelt rendition of the Zedd hit, "Clarity," during the "4-Chair Challenge" on Thursday's episode of the popular show. She was eventually chosen as one of the four finalists in the Girls category under judge Demi Lovato, joining Khaya Cohen, Danie Geimer, and Rion Paige.

Also in the Top 16 are Carlito Olivero, Carlos Guevara, Josh Levi, Tim Olstad, Jeff Gutt, James Kenney, Lillie McCloud, Rachel Potter, Alex & Sierra, RoXxy Montana, Restless Road and Sweet Suspense.

It can be recalled that Santiago had auditioned for the first season of "The X Factor USA" in 2011. She also entered the Top 16 then but as part of InTENsity in the Groups category, not as a solo performer.
