After making it to CNN's "Top 25 Summer Delicious Foods" just a few months ago, Halo-halo has done it again and this time, it made its way to USA Today's “Top 10 Food Fads Worth Traveling For.”

According to the USA Today, the popular Filipino dessert “isn't a mere passing fad, it's a classic summer treat."

Also included in the list are Cronuts from Dominique Ansel in New York City; Umami burger which has a fanatic audience in Los Angeles; Townie from London; Crookie from Toronto; Frozen S'mores from New York City; Ramen burger originally from the streets of Japan but is elevated to food fad fame in Brooklyn; Japadog from Vancouver; Bantam bagels from West Village Shop; and Gourmet popcorn.

Early this year, Famous chef and TV personality Anthony featured Halo-halo in his show, where he called it "oddly beautiful."

The delectable dessert was also featured as Quickfire Challenge dish in the American reality TV series, "Top Chef" and was named as one of the top three Quickfire Challenge dishes by guest judge Johnny Luzzini.
