Another boy-next-door auditioned for "The Voice of the Philippines" but unlike a couple of eye candies in the past episodes, he actually made it to the next round.

Paolo Onesa, a 19-year-old mass communication student at Ateneo de Zamboaga, serenaded the coaches with his version of the Orange and Lemon hit, "Yakap Sa Dilim." Not long after he hit the first note, coach Bamboo turned his chair around. Although no one else turned, Onesa secured a spot in the next round of the competition, the Battle Rounds, under Kamp Kawayan.
Onesa's "The Voice" audition also sent some Twitter users abuzz. Below were some of tweets about the singing heartthrob.
