Kim Chiu of Quezon City, Francine Garcia, was crowned winner of "Super Sireyna 2013," a transgender beauty pageant in the hit noontime show on GMA-7, "Eat Bulaga."
"Kim Chiu," who earlier won the title Super Sireyna Queen of the Jungle, took home the P300,00 cash prize, half of which will go to her chosen cause. To win the coveted crown, she bested seven other lovely grand finalists --Super Sireyna Queen of Asia, Mariane " Cristine Reyes" Arguelles; Super Sireyna Queen of Tourism Mae "Marian Rivera" Andrada; Super Sireyna Queen of the World, Michelle "Georgina Wilson" Bermudez; Super Sireyna Queen of the Sky, Maki Eve "Jennylyn Mercado" Mercedez; Super Sireyna Queen of the Ocean, Bembem "Carla Abellana" Radaza; Super Sireyna Queen of the Wind, Aya "Bangs Garcia" Garcia; and Super Sireyna Queen of the Universe, Ava "Heart Evangelista" Santillian.
The QC beauty also bagged the FB Dabarkads' Choice after her photo received the most likes on "Eat Bulaga's" Facebook page, while "Bangs Garcia" took the Best in Talent award. The Best in Long Gown and Best in Costume went to "Jennylyn Mercado" and "Carla Abellana," respectively.
The panel of judges for the grand finals, which was held in Resorts World Manila on Saturday, was comprised of fashion designer Rajo Laurel, Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz, "Eat Bulaga" host Isabelle Daza, actor Aljur Abrenica and "America’s Next Top Model" model Michael Carandang.
