Boracay, 'Best Beach In Asia' According To TripAdvisor Survey

The recently concluded 2013 Travelers' Choice Awards conducted by a popular online travel guide site, TripAdvisor, has revealed the top 25 Beaches in Asia with three winning beaches coming from the Philippines, one holding the top spot.

Taking into consideration the opinions and insights of millions of travelers all over the world who took part of the survey and were subscribers from the said travel guide site, the White Beach in Boracay, Philippines ranked number 1 in the said awards.

One subscriber commented that the White Island is a "stunningly beautiful white powder sand beach." The subscriber also mentioned the crystal-clear water which is one of the most inviting feature of the beach.

The White Beach remained one of Asia's best beaches even amidst all the controversies and complaints being thrown at its "over-development."

All year round, local and foreign tourists visit the island but the months from December to May are amongst the busiest times of the year.

Also included in the list are Palawan's Secret Lagoon Beach and Boracay's Yapak Beach, which ranked 9th and 10th, respectively.
