In an interview with dzBB radio, Papin said Flores was pronounced dead at 1:27 a.m.
"Noong pinadala namin dito, okay pagdating dito sa hospital though she could hardly breathe. We were trying to revive her I think three times, hindi na na-revive. Pronounced dead siya 1:27 a.m. (When we brought her to the hospital, she could hardly breathe. We tried to revive her I think three times, but failed. She was pronounced dead at 1:27 a.m.)," she said.
Flores' remains have been brought to Loyola Memorial Chapel and Crematorium in Commonwealth Avenue.
Born Medina P. Dancel, Bella Flores was best known for her iconic portrayals of film villains. She appeared in over 100 films and received the 1967 FAMAS Best Supporting Actress award for her role in "Ang Kaibigan Kong Santo Niño".
