The "Hawak Kamay" singer gave in to the insistent requests from her fans and created her own version of "Gwiyomi" or "Kwiyomi," an internet meme wherein one performs a series of cute hand movements to the tune of the song of the same title. She posted it on Sunday night to her Facebook page, where it amassed more than 50,000 likes in just 2 hours.
As of this posting, which is 20 hours after Yeng uploaded it to the popular social networking site, the video has attracted about 140,000 likes and more than 45,000 shares. A Youtube upload of her cover is also collecting thousands of views.
Yeng is not the first Noypi celeb to jump into the "Gwiyomi" bandwagon. Heart Evangelista, Vice Ganda, Teejay Marquez, Kylie Padilla, Ella Cruz, Alodia Gosingfiao also have their own viral "Gwiyomi" videos.
