Sarah Geronimo Is Back On Twitter

Sarah Geronimo is giving Twitter another try.

After closing her Twitter account last year, the Philippines' Popstar Princess created a new one on Wednesday using the handle @JustSarahG.

"Hi everyone! This is sarah g. And I'm back on twitter. :)," reads Geronimo's first tweet.

Geronimo, undoubtedly one of the most influential Filipino artists today, stopped using Twitter last October because she was fed up with negative tweets sent to her.

The reason why she came back became evident in her second and third posts in her new account.

"Iniimbitahan ko po kayong lahat na muling subaybayan ang love story nila miggy at laida. May happy ending nga ba para sa kanila?," she writes. "Sabay-sabay po sana natin alamin. Malapit na... sa March 30!"

Geronimo reprises her role as Laida Magtalas in her movie with John Lloyd Cruz titled "It Takes A Man And A Woman," which will be released on March 30.

Meanwhile, a number of Geronimo's fans welcomed their idol back on the microblogging site, prompting the hashtag #SarahGeronimoIsBackOnTwitter to briefly trend on Twitter Philippines.
