Bagyong Crising has moved closer to Southern tip of Davao del Sur, PAGASA said on its 11:00 a.m. bulletin on Tuesday, February 19, 2013.

As of 10:00 a.m., the center of Tropical Depression Crising was estimated at 100 km Southeast of General Santos City (05.7°N, 126.1°E ). The cyclone is packing maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center and is forecast to move west northwestward at a rate of 22 kph, the state weather bureau said.

Public Storm Warning Signal Number 1 has been up in the following areas: Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, Samal Island, Davao Oriental, Compostela Valley, Southern part of Surigao del Sur, Agusan del Sur, Bukidnon, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, North Cotabato, Maguindanao, Sultan Kudarat, South Cotabato, Sarangani, Misamis Occidental, Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur and Zamboanga Sibugay.

PAGASA alerts residents living in low lying and mountainous areas in the said provinces
for possible flashfloods and landslides. It also advises fishing boats and other small seacrafts not to venture out into the Northern and Eastern seaboards of the country. 

Bagyong Crising is estimated to yield a rainfall amount of 5 - 15 mm per hour (moderate - heavy) within 300 km  of its diameter.
