Pepe Pimentel, the host of the now defunct game show "Family Kwarta o Kahon," has died Thursday, January 24, 2013. He was 82 years old.

Pepe Pimentel dead at 83
Reports indicate that Pimentel collapsed inside a bathroom in his house in Barangay Laging Handa, Quezon City. He was unconscious when his family found him at around 10am.

Citing Supt. Marcelino Pedrozo of Kamuning Police Station, Julie Aurelio of the Philippine Daily Inquirer reports Pimentel slipped and hit his head inside the bathroom.

Pepe Pimentel's "Family Kwarta o Kahon" was a hit noontime game show which aired for 38 years, from 1962 until the year 2000.

Pimentel also hosted radio shows and was part of the 1960s movies "Fil-American Girl," "Dear Eddie," "The Jukebox Queen," among others.
