About 167 people have reported being ill after eating at the restaurant this past week. Health officials think Norovirus is the culprit.
Norovirus is the leading cause of food poisoning in the United States. It is spread person-to-person, and through contaminated surfaces, food, and water. Symptoms of norovirus infection usually include diarrhea, throwing up, nausea, and stomach cramping.
The Natrona County Health Department is interviewing Golden Corral employees as part of their investigation, trying to nail down whether the restaurant is the source of the outbreak.
eVERYONE GOES UP IN ARMS OVER SOMETHING LIKE THIS YET WHEN YOU EVER GO TO ONE OF THEIR ESTABLISHMENTS YOU ALWAYS SEE A BUNCH OF SNOTTY NOSED KIDS DIGGING IN THE FOOD AND A BUNCH OF LESS THAN HYGEINIC FOLKS AT THE TROUGH SO TO SPEAK i AM SUPRISED THAT WE DONT HEAR OF MORE PROBLEMS MORE OFTEN!
ReplyDeleteDoubt it came off of someone's hands.
DeleteWho cares! That's what you get for being cheap.
ReplyDeleteAgree with the first comment about snotty nosed kids "fingering " all the food. Of course, the red-necked parents don't know any better them selves. I've visited the Golden Corral a couple of times and observed enough to never again return to one for a meal
ReplyDeleteIt's about time that they publish this food poisoning at Golden Coral. When I first got here in Texas, I ate at this place and I had a food poisoning and I was sick for three days. I have to tell the girl that handed me the glass to not put her hands inside the mouth of the glass. They have a lot of people working in that place that don't seems to know the health etiquete on serving the customers. Their place and their food look like its going to make you sick.
