You may have known by now that "Rurouni Kenshin" or "Samurai X," a popular anime series among Noypis, has a live-action film adaptation.
The "Samurai X" movie, officially titled "Rurouni Kenshin," was released in Japan on August 25th, where it raked in more than $15 million dollars in ticket sales as of posting time.
Recent reports say the movie has acquired license for an international release in over 60 countries, apparently including the Philippines.
On Wednesday, SM Cinema confirmed that it will be screening the film on October 17, 2012. (Update: SM Cinema deleted its wall post after a few hours. It was shared around 3,000 times in just 2 hours.)
Produced by Warner Bros. and directed by Keishi ÅŒtomo, "Rurouni Kenshin" stars Takeru Satoh (of "Kamen Rider Den-O" fame) as Kenshin, Munetaka Aoki as Sanosuke Sagara and Emi Takei as Kaoru.
