| 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards Nominations Bared |
The nominations were announced in Los Angeles by "Scandal" actress Kerry Washington and comedian and late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.
The 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on September 23, 2012 at the Nokia Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, California. Kimmel will host the Emmys for the first time.
The awards, which will air live on ABC, honor the best in America's primetime TV programming from June 1, 2011 until May 31, 2012.
