Angeline Quinto recently submitted herself to a DNA testing after a certain Veronica Tolentino claimed to be her biological mom.

The 22-year-old singer-actress has received the results and they turned out to be negative - Quinto's and Tolentinto's DNAs did not match.

"Nakita niyo naman po kung ano ang reaction ni Aling Veronica,' talagang umiyak siya noong niyakap niya ako. Sabi ko nga po, Pasensya na po kayo, siguro po ganoon talaga,'" Quinto told the Buzz.

Angeline also hopes that Veronica will eventually find her daughter.

Meanwhile, Veronica said she still considers Angeline as her "daughter" and she's hoping that the songstress will never be changed by fame.

"Mabigat sa loob ko kasi nga alam ko talaga anak kita. Parang hindi ko makaya. Para akong binagsakan ng lupa’t langit. Pero anak, anak pa rin ang tawag ko sa iyo, huwag mo na lang ipagkait. Sana huwag ka magbago," she said.

As for her own search, Quinto vowed to continue searching for her biological mom.

"Basta ‘yung makilala ko lang po ‘yung tunay kong nanay. Kasi ‘yun lang po talaga ‘yung lagi kong dinadasal eh, bukod po sa mabuo po ‘yung pamilya ko, ‘yung makilala ko lang po ‘yung tunay kong nanay," the singer said.
